Hi! I’m Mairin Clarke, a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying). My journey into becoming a psychotherapist actually started with my own experience in therapy as a client. I struggled during high school, and my therapist played a huge role in helping me through that difficult time. That experience stayed with me and ultimately inspired me to want to do the same for others.
I’m a therapist because, at my core, I’m a curious person who finds people and their lives so interesting. It deeply fulfils me to make a meaningful emotional and psychological impact on someone’s life while also creating meaningful relationships along the way. I also really enjoy learning, and I love that I get to learn so much from my clients, their different walks of life, occupations, experiences, and perspectives.

What Is It Like Working With Me?
Working with me can look like crying when life takes an unexpected turn and feeling supported while having the space to really feel that emotion. It can also look like thoughtfully working through a big decision that you’ve been avoiding, or sometimes learning coping skills to help you manage anxiety or stress.
I’ll be there with you through all of the emotions and support you in navigating a life that feels authentic to you and aligned with your values and goals. I’ll certainly make you feel heard and validate your feelings, but I’m also not afraid to challenge you when I notice you slipping back into old patterns that we’ve worked hard to change.
