Do I have to talk about what happened?

No. You decide what you share and when. Many people spend early sessions building safety and coping skills before talking about specific experiences, and some never go into detail at all.

What if I'm not sure my experience "counts" as trauma?

You don't need to be sure. If something from your past still affects how you feel, think or relate to others, it's worth talking about, whatever you call it.

Do you work with PTSD?

Yes. Trauma and PTSD are a core part of my work. I work with adults and young people 16 and up, in person in Oakville and virtually across Ontario.

Can trauma therapy be done online?

Yes. Many people find it easier to open up from their own space. We'll make sure you have a private, comfortable spot and a plan for grounding after sessions.
